Eagles coach Chip Kelly believes Cowboys QB Tony Romo is elite
“We got to go out and play a really good Dallas team, whether it would be in Dallas or here”, said Kelly. Well, let’s look at a couple of things, Elite quarterbacks such as Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees have all won Super Bowls and have consistently stayed winning.

That’s the narrative Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked about on his radio show Friday, with Romo now on a three-game streak of huge throws on late drives going back to the playoffs last season.
“Speaking for myself [the offseason work] helped me a lot just to navigate the game to see how Tony [Romo] goes about it and being accountable to him”, Street said. He’s a franchise quarterback. I really would not, I really would not (trade him for any other QB), for what we’ve got ahead of us. “He’s who I want as opposed to a choice throughout the league”.
The Cowboys quarterback completed 69.9 percent of his passes and had a rating of 113.2 last season to rank among the top seven in National Football League history in both of those categories.
Jones reiterated that he’d rather have Romo quarterbacking the Cowboys than anyone else.
“Either you’re going to be comfortable in these situations, or you’re going to lose a lot of them”, he said.
“He’s got skills, and his ability to read defenses, his ability to read them impromptu, plus be able to obviously make some plays that aren’t there”, Jones said.
In between, in a second-round playoff contest at Lambeau Field, he decided to go deep to Dez Bryant on fourth-and-2 with the Cowboys driving against the Packers in the fourth quarter.

“But with these last two or three seasons, it’s unfortunate he’s had that injury season, or injury seasons, really over the last five or six years”. Since 2010, the Cowboys are 3-2 with Bryant out of the lineup.
