Eagles coach Chip Kelly has full confidence in Mark Sanchez

Almost anyone could have caught the floating ball, and eventually it landed in Jarvis’ arms in the end zone with 14:55 left to play. “Time for us to go on an eight-game win streak”. “We needed a win like that. But we have a long season ahead of us and we just have to be ready to play”.

Offensively, the Dolphins weren’t impressive. Combined, they have seven touchdown receptions. He has become a sub-.500 quarterback while the Eagles have become a sub-.500 team.

The Dolphins are the first National Football League team to have a safety against them in three consecutive games since the 1980 Seattle Seahawks, and join the 1970 Pittsburgh Steelers as the only teams in history to have a safety against them in three consecutive games.

-SPECIAL TEAMS: B. Linebacker Zach Vigil blocked a punt in the second quarter that helped the Dolphins overcome a 16-3 deficit. Suh is adjusting to the Dolphins’ defense, how teams are attacking him this year, and how he needs to play to make the Dolphins defense the dominating one expected before the season started. They have an embarrassment of riches at running back and after a rocky start, have certainly improved and look poised to put up huge numbers in the second half of the season.

-COACHING: B-plus. Chip Kelly had a good offensive game plan against the Dolphins, using a lot of two-tight end sets and attacking the middle of the field.

“They didn’t say anything about that”, Kelly said. Of course. But the point was, ‘Just get in and win the game.’ And unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

Philadelphia radio personality Howard Eskin reported after the game that Bradford iterated that he was having trouble remembering what had occurred in the first half of Sunday’s contest, a telling signal that the head injury may be more critical than originally suspected. During the play Sanchez was rolling to his left and saw Austin sprinting just beyond the goal line. Predictably, the ball ended up with the defense. He had a sack, three tackles for losses and three hurries.

Among Miami’s other cornerbacks, Jamar Taylor logged 79 snaps, Brice McCain 43 before his injury, rookie Tony Lippett 22 and Zack Bowman 21. I don’t think we took a step back by any means when Mark went in there. When the running game is going well, the whole offense seems more vibrant.

Landry’s touchdown came after Ryan Tannehill’s pass went off Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin at the line of scrimmage and bounced high up into the air.

The Eagles had rushed for 150 or more yards in four straight games before gaining just 83 against the Dolphins, who allowed 266 the previous week.

Ndamukong Suh is the biggest name on the defense, joining as a free agent in the offseason.

-COACHING: A. Interim coach Dan Campbell (3-2) kept his team pointed in the right direction despite back-to-back road losses at New England and Buffalo. “That was totally on me”, Tannehill said. “He was chasing plays down, chasing screens”.
