Eagles look ahead to 5 picks in the final rounds
He then started booing Wentz harshly and asked what Carson was going to do about it. He was rescued from the frightful Rams thanks to a trade with the Eagles.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ NFL Draft began Thursday in glamorous yet mundane fashion when the team drafted polished North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz with the No. 2 overall pick.
The Eagles are looking for someone who can work with Bradford, with Goff and Wentz likely to be that guy. Its fair to believe this will be a very light draft for them unless more trades occur.
Roseman conceded they might not have been available where they were taken without the red flags.
“To be frank, it’s all our livelihoods”.
The Eagles bypassed the plethora of those still remaining to take Isaac Seumalo, a versatile offensive lineman from Oregon State. His teammate, offensive tackle Joe Haeg, went to Indianapolis in the fifth round with the 155th pick.
Countess, 5-foot-9 and 184 pounds, played both cornerback and safety in college. He runs just 4.6 in the 40-yard dash. At that point, the Eagles held the 13th pick in the first round.
“As a competitor, you want to get on the field as soon as you can”. Plus it’s going to be a competitive atmosphere whether Bradford and the Eagles want it or not.
“I think it will change the platform for how many people are seeing him and how many people are hearing him but him as of character, I don’t see that changing”, says Bison fan Gretchen Hinz. The 49ers have tried to trade Kaepernick, but the market for him has shrank to possibly one team – the Denver Broncos. And, of course, you don’t have a first-round pick because of deflated footballs, but you do own a case full of Lombardi trophies because you stick to your philosophy.
After trying to fill the QB job with Michael Vick, Kevin Kolb, Nick Foles, Mark Sanchez and Bradford, the Eagles decided a top draft choice gave them the best chance.
If you thought Wentz was big in North Dakota, now the world will get to see him in action playing in the NFL.
Listening to Wentz it’s hard not to be impressed.
How the drama, perpetrated by the one-time Oklahoma star signal-caller whose National Football League career has never been what experts thought it would be, plays out in Philadelphia is anyone’s guess but it appears the Broncos will not play a role in its potential fulfillment.

Right now it’s the only way for the Eagles.
