The Philadelphia Eagles’ NFL Draft began Thursday in glamorous yet mundane fashion when the team drafted polished North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz with the No. 2 overall pick.
The Eagles are looking for someone who can work with Bradford, with Goff and Wentz likely to be that guy. Its fair to believe this will be a very light draft for them unless more trades occur.

Listening to Wentz it’s hard not to be impressed.
How the drama, perpetrated by the one-time Oklahoma star signal-caller whose National Football League career has never been what experts thought it would be, plays out in Philadelphia is anyone’s guess but it appears the Broncos will not play a role in its potential fulfillment.
