Last month, Eagles of Death Metal spoke to VICE about the concert that changed their lives. Billboard also reports EODM will resume their European Tour in February. A famous original band member is also being mooted for an appearance because Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme is expected to join the band on stage for what’s believed to be a duet with U2 which will be the final song of the evening. It’s sure to be an emotional moment for all involved.
The band’s performance at Paris’ Bataclan venue on November 13 suffered an armed assault by terrorists, and 89 people were killed, including the band’s merch manager Nick Alexander.

Band member Jesse Hughes was adamant in returning to Paris as soon as possible after the attack. U2 had been scheduled to perform on November 14 at the same venue, but the concert was postponed in the wake of the attacks. That same evening, HBO will premiere U2: Innocence + Experience Live in Paris at 9 p.m. ET. “The best thing we could do for our fellow musicians was to buy them phones”, he said. Bono told the New York Times this week that he had reached out to Eagles of Death Metal following the incident, in an attempt to help them in whatever way he could. “Our friends went there to see rock’n’roll and died”. In a radio interview Bono said: “Our security locked it down pretty quickly and we got our team and our crew out of there safely”.
