With Tony Romo under center, there is not a team in the NFL Dallas can’t beat and Romo is known for his magical escapes and miracle comebacks. He sure looked like he was fully healthy Sunday night. It’s his first time back since I think the last Dallas game. And they’re only 4-4 at the midway point of their season.

KEY PLAYER FOR SECOND HALF: Quarterback Sam Bradford. He’s also looked more confident in the pocket and as a result he’s been more accurate and shown more of a willingness to look downfield in recent weeks. He can’t continue to improve each week. We decided that we were going to give him a second chance, but in doing so, the expectations and the standards that we set would be very clear to him – how he, and really everybody else, is supposed to conduct themselves on the football field and off the football field. He’s a veteran, playing in the final year of his rookie contract. Bradford’s career numbers – and it isn’t that small of a sample size at this point – suggest that he’s nearing that point. A lot of people lose players, and a lot of people win games. Kirk Cousins has been good at times, terrible at others.
However, when evaluating Bradford, it’s hard to see him replicating this Cowboys’ performance. Dez was the best receiver in the league. One of them – Matthews can’t remember the guy’s name – made mention of the late Kano Jigoro, who is the founder of judo.

With Mychal Kendricks and Kiko Alonso still working their way back from injury and DeMeco Ryans unable to suit up against the Cowboys, Hicks’ injury could prove significant.
If Bradford plays less than half of the snaps in 2015 (or essentially eight games), the Eagles get the Rams’ 2016 NFL Draft 4th-round pick. And, boy, did he deliver.
Fortunately for Davis, both Kendricks and Alonso are back, and Ryan should be returning in the next week or two.

That doesn’t mean they don’t have any strengths – far from it – but there isn’t one thing they can rely on when all else fails.

A full-strength Dallas team is clearly the best team in the division.
