Eagles sign wide receiver Rueben Randle to 1-year deal
The former Bastrop and LSU wide receiver has agreed to a one-year deal with the Eagles, the organization announced Wednesday. With so much defensive attention paid to the explosive Beckham, Randle figured to thrive, as the coverage could not be pushed to his side.

Although Randle showed flashes of brilliance on several occasions in NY, he never took off like the Giants thought he would.
According to Randle’s agent, Vincent Taylor of Elite Loyalty, the deal has the potential to be worth up to $3.025 million, with $500,000 fully guaranteed.
The four-year veteran has not missed a single game in his four-year career, and has 188 career catches for 2,644 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Randle had 57 catches for 797 yards and a career-best eight touchdowns last season.
Drafted by the Giants in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, he spent four seasons in NY.
Before the Eagles added Randle on Wednesday, new coach Doug Pederson had mentioned that Nelson Agholor and Jordan Matthews would be the top two outside receivers heading into OTAs.
Randle, who turns 25 on May 7, has had success against the Eagles, with 30 receptions for 493 yards and five touchdowns in eight career games.

Last week, the Philadelphia Eagles signed wide receiver Chris Givens, who provided a familiar face for quarterback Sam Bradford.
