Eagles trade with Browns for second pick in NFL Draft

It’s likely they still select a quarterback with one of their picks, however; whichever one they choose will probably need time to develop. After the Rams leaped from No. 15 to No. 1, the Browns were no longer going to have their choice of Goff or Wentz. We saw it last week when the Rams traded away their future for the right to take the top passer from a pretty underwhelming class.

“From all the physical tools, both of them are extremely gifted there”. If not, Cal’s Jared Goff is the guy. Is there someone they want more than anyone else?

St. Louis moved up to No 1 to get themselves a quarterback.

That leaves Roseman with the No. 2 pick, a third-round pick at No. 79, two fifth-round picks, one sixth-round pick, and two seventh-round picks for this year’s draft. After Indy took Manning, he got Leaf. What the heck are they doing? Wentz was the starting QB for the FCS North Dakota State Bison for just two seasons.

“If it happens, it’s something I’ll deal with when it happens”, Bradford said. He spoke with owner Jeffrey Lurie, top football executive Howie Roseman and coach Doug Pederson.

When it comes to drafting a quarterback for the Eagles, Sam Bradford will highly be affected.

After re-signing Sam Bradford and signing Chase Daniel this offseason, it may make sense for the Eagles to move Bradford for another draft pick. “There is a good depth of talent in the first round and we felt we could make a larger impact to our roster by adding more draft picks and that’s why we made the decision to trade down”. Which quarterback could they end up selecting?

The Philadelphia Eagles are now the owners of the second overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft. Those selections include this year’s first-rounder, which is the eighth pick in the draft, this year’s third and fourth round picks. Wait until later, like with Green Bay at 27, and the teams risk that one of the other teams will trade up ahead of them with Seattle. He made it to five NFC title games and one Super Bowl. That proved not meant to be once the season began. Investing in Bradford is unusual if you’re going to turn around a little while later and trade a ton of picks for another quarterback.it seems like impulse buying at the highest stakes imaginable, from an impulsive franchise that fired Andy Reid, just to hire Andy Reid’s assistant three years later.

The Eagles’ preference is for Wentz, a raw but talented quarterback who starred for the Bison and has drawn comparisons to the Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger.
