Earl Avery is very suspicious of law enforcement’s various claims made throughout the case.
Earl, who hasn’t seen Steven in a decade, said: “We drove right through there, where that auto was supposed to be and it wasn’t there”.
Avery’s new lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, recently tweeted out a letter Avery wrote from jail on January 29, which reads, “To my supporter’s: I want every forensic test possible done b/c I am innocent Steven Avery”.
The popular docu-series has cast doubt on Avery’s conviction for the 2005 murder of Halbach, prompting fans to call for the reopening of the case in an effort to exonerate Avery.
Key players in the Steven Avery murder trial have received more recent attention after the release of the Netflix Series “Making a Murderer”. Both and nephew Brendan Dassey are serving life sentences for the murder, having been convicted in 2007.
“If somebody’s gonna slice somebody’s throat, you know, there’s gonna be blood – something”, Earl told AH’s Stephanie Bauer.
Earl added: “And they say they cleaned up in the garage, but there’s all dust and everything all over everything. We were rabbit hunting”, Avery said. “How do you clean up and put the dust back?”
Earl also addressed Avery’s claim that possibly his brothers killed Halbach.
Steven Avery’s younger brother said in an interview with “Access Hollywood” things have been tough on the entire Avery family lately.
