On Wednesday, Kanye West announced that he would be opening 21 pop up shops in various locations around the world.
Carlos Rico, 19, from Essex, was first in line at the store in Old Street, which is selling products linked to West’s latest album The Life of Pablo. Merch and music lovers have the opportunity to unite around the listening experience, and can check out the Sonos White SUB in person and preorder it as well.
“I’m hoping to get today the exclusive Miami t-shirt”, said young fan, Moises Farji.
Those who chose to fearless the lines have been reporting two hour waits to enter the store, which will be open through the weekend (until 9pm tonight, 10am to 9pm on Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday).

The shops – which opened on Friday – will be around for three days, and other venues around the world include South Africa, Australia, Canada and Singapore.
West will perform September 16-17 at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, one of a handful of cities with multiple performances on West’s Saint Pablo Tour, supporting his latest album, “The Life of Pablo”.

The Los Angeles pop-up store will open at 346 N. Fairfax Avenue from noon to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
