East Texas experts disagree with Obama on linking guns, mental health

The White House invited victims of gun violence to join the president for his announcement, which brought a quick rebuke by Republicans, including members of Utah’s federal delegation, who sniped at Obama’s use of his executive authority.

As for red flags raised in regard to mental issues, adjudicated mental issues, meaning those decided by a judge, would show up.

Biden admits these measures are modest.

“If we open up the community to accept the fact that people, their mental health will fluctuate over time, so that they can access treatment when they need it, then we can reduce the risk that people won’t get treatment when they’re at high risk”, Dr. Williams.

O’Reilly did not say whether background checks should be performed on citizens before they exercise their First Amendment rights of free speech or free religion, nor did he say whether background checks should be performed before exercising the Third and Fourth Amendment rights to private property and security in that property.
