EastEnders actress Sian Blake murder: Arthur Simpson-Kent charged by police
Sian Blake’s partner has been arrested on suspicion of the murders of the ex-EastEnders actress and their two children, police have said.

Simpson-Kent is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London later on Friday.
Ms Blake, who played Frankie Pierre in 56 episodes of EastEnders in 1996 and 1997, died from neck and head injuries, post-mortem tests found. She had been suffering from motor neurone disease.
Ms Blake and her children were found buried in the garden of the family home.
As reported by Independent, Simpson- Kent was detained by the Metropolitan Police in Heathrow Airport after he arrived from his flight from Ghana.
Hairdressser Arthur Simpson-Kent is suspected of killing the mother and their two children Zachary, eight, and Amon, four, in December past year.
He was believed to have travelled to Ghana via Amsterdam, with police desperate to track him down after he became their main suspect in the investgation into Sian, Zachary and Amon’s deaths.
The charges against Simpson-Kent say Ms Blake and her sons were murdered between December 12 and December 16.

The police watchdog is investigating the way Scotland Yard handled the missing person’s inquiry and why it took until early January for the actress’s back garden to be thoroughly searched after murder squad detectives were called in.
