Easter Bunny hopping into Jackson County this Saturday

On the actual holiday, locals can attend an Easter brunch and family egg hunt at Selby Gardens.
Preston Community Easter Egg Scramble is Saturday at Preston City Park.
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Auburn will be dishing out hamburgers and hot dogs. Businesses hand out candy and treats, photos with the Easter Bunny.
The Jaycees will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. March 26 at the log cabin at Bishop Park.
“There will be arts and crafts and pictures with the bunny”, said Rebecca Todd, the recreation coordinator.
Melcher said that in the event of cold weather or rain, the Easter egg hunt will still happen. There will be lots of candy, toys and some special prizes. There will also be a field designated for individuals with special needs.
Other than donations for breakfast and Easter baskets, the event is free. All children up to age 12 are welcome.
Participants should arrive at least 5-10 minutes early, the hunt starts with the sound of the noon fire station siren.
The Springs Assisted Living (formerly Marquis Assisted Living) at 300 Mount Highland Drive will have its annual Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, in the courtyard. Children will be organized by age group at Clarendon Hills Middle School and then led to the park for the hunt. Prizes will be in the eggs and children can take eggs home afterwards. Kids should bring a basket, a flashlight, and be ready to hunt for 5000 glow-in-the-dark eggs.
St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Cedar Bluffs will be hosting its seventh annual Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Bring your lawn chair, sunglasses and invite family and friends.br br 3.

The Cowboy Fellowship, 830-769-3733, between Pleasanton and Jourdanton, will have an Easter egg hunt on Good Friday at 6 p.m.in the arena. This event is free and open to the public.br br 4. The cost of the photos will be $10 for one 5-by-7-inch photo, two 3-by-5-inch photos or four wallet-size photos.
