Easter Egg Hunt at Surf City
During Easter, Jesus is certainly the reason for the season, but people also participate in Easter-related events as a way to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection.

MANITOULIN-Spring is officially here and the Easter Bunny will be hopping over the swing bridge this weekend, hiding eggs across Manitoulin for Island youth to find.
The Wilmington Family YMCA’s free egg hunt and Summer Camp open house at Camp Kirkwood in Pender County takes place Saturday, as well.
The event will feature entertainment and Easter egg hunts on the softball fields. In the fall, they plan to hold a Trunk or Treat event. Complimentary hot dogs, water and dessert will be served.
Weaverville Lions Easter Egg Hunt: 2 p.m. Sunday at Lowden Park in Weaverville. Parents will be allowed to help children 4 and younger. Each hunt will be given an approximate 15-minute time period to allow for the disbursement of the eggs into the appropriate pool as well as the actual hunt, any necessary cleanup and organizing prior to the next hunt.
Easter egg hunt There will be 2,000 eggs. There will be lots of candy, toys and some special prizes.
The Community-wide Easter Egg first began as a small set-up hosted by the Deming Firefighter/EMTs at Scout Park. For ages 12 and younger.
Xppression Dancing Divas of Houma and DJ Price will host an Easter egg hunt Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.at Mechanicville Gym, 2814 Senator St., Houma.
The family fun begins this Friday, March 25, with Cadbury World’s Easter Eggstravaganza. Registration for the hunt will start at 10:30 a.m.at the track gate at WMHS.
The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures, so bring cameras.
The Darby Community Public Library is hosting an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. on Saturday for children age 2 to 7. Hunt will be split into three age groups.
Children are invited to design colourful bonnets for the competition, sponsored by Daventry Town Council, with prizes on offer for the most colourful, most creative and best themed.

“We put about 800 eggs in the pool”, she said. Some of the other activities were egg coloring, face painting, free access to “The Aqua Climb” climbing wall and outside there were inflatables. 1 to 3 p.m.
