Easter egg hunts planned in Southeast Idaho
On Saturday, Reiman Gardens will host a collection of Easter activities including an egg hunt for those in sixth grade or younger, craft and activity station, face painting and a visit from the Reiman Gardens’ Spring Bunny. All proceeds raised will help needy families in the community.

10 a.m. – Buena Vista Rotary Club annual Easter Egg Hunt at Columbine Park in Buena Vista is open to children ages 1-11.
The city’s annual hunt will be held starting at 9 a.m.at Hatch Park, located at 50 W. Center St.in North Salt Lake.
1 p.m. – The Sophiasburgh Recreation Committee presents “The Great Big Easter Egg Hunt” in Northport! We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym, 10175 Rancho Carmel Drive, Suite 128A, San Diego.
A community Easter egg hunt will take place at 10 a.m.at Trailside Park in Pequot Lakes for children up to age 12. The Westgate Hotel, 1055 Second Ave., downtown San Diego. Kids should bring a basket, a flashlight, and be ready to hunt for 5000 glow-in-the-dark eggs. Children age 10 and younger are encouraged to bring their basket for the hunt and their camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny. Kids can begin assembling at 9:45 a.m., and the signal for the hunt to begin will be at 10 a.m. Belmont Park, 3125 Ocean Front Walk, Mission Beach.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5 and 6, listen to some Easter tales at the Storytelling event from 12noon to 4pm. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, juice, milk and coffee.
“They really like hard-boiled eggs”, a representative from the zoo said, “so they’re running around trying to get as much of them as they can”.
While finding these beautifully decorated eggs started with Osterhase, All Things German notes that the actual Easter egg hunts didn’t become popular until the 20th century. Food booths will also be on site.
