Eazy Goes in to Kiss Britney Spears, Gets Rejected at VMAs

After taking the floor for a few minutes for an off-the-cuff speech at last night’s VMAs, Kanye West used the platform to premiere his “Fade” music video.

Rihanna, 28, sang 13 of the biggest hits in her 13-year career, including “Rude Girl”, “Diamonds” and “Only Girl in the World”.

Rocking a new hairstyle, Rihanna returned to the stage to perform “Needed Me”, “Pour It Up” and “B**** Better Have My Money”. “They have such fantastic chemistry, both with their love life and their professional collaborations that she’ll always be ‘The One” for him!

Beyonce has topped the winners list at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards scoring a string of top honours, including video of the year for her politically charged song, “Formation” and best female video. West preceded the video with a rambling, improvised speech that touched on poverty, his wife Kim Kardashian, his long-running feud with Taylor Swift, and violence in black neighborhoods. The music video, which shows him looking frail in bed with bandaged eyes, was released just days before the icon’s January 10 death.

Other performers including Ariana Grande, who brought spin class to the VMA stage when she sang the reggae-tinged “Side to Side” with Nicki Minaj.

Louisiana, who have been struggling with severe flooding in recent weeks. Social media was quick to declare the moment to be a major curve on RiRi’s part.
