EBay reports $2.2bn Q2 revenue
It is the undisputed leader in online auction efforts for the public, and its reach goes much farther than just the United States.

eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) last issued its quarterly earnings results on Wednesday, July 20th.
Several other analysts have also recently commented on EBAY. For the stock price target value has been calculated at $28.34 based on calls of 33 experts.
06/21/2016 – eBay Inc. had its “buy” rating reiterated by analysts at Benchmark. The auction and marketplace site reported $2.23 billion in revenue, beating expectations for $2.17 billion. The company expects to report third quarter EPS of $0.42 to $0.44 and full year EPS of $1.85 to $1.90.
Sales in the current quarter will be $2.16 billion to $2.19 billion, EBay said. Analysts estimated $8.81 billion, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. He said a structured data initiative aimed at improving eBay’s prominence in Google search-engine results should improve performance. We’re starting to accelerate growth in the business, so that plan is starting to take route. Morgan Stanley reissued a “sell” rating on shares of eBay in a report on Wednesday, April 27th. The key question left unanswered is the sustainability and build for GMV growth off what is a clear inflection point – which is something eBay shareholders have been anticipating for some time. Finally, Needham & Company LLC restated a “hold” rating on shares of eBay in a research report on Monday, June 27th.
“We are now one year into executing our strategy to provide the best choice, the most relevance and the most powerful selling platform, and there are signs of momentum in our business”, said eBay CEO Devin Wenig in a statement.
eBay Inc. (NASDAQ:EBAY) had its price target raised by Axiom Securities (analyst Victor Anthony) from $30.00 to $34.00. Mizuho increased their price target on shares of eBay from $26.00 to $31.00 and gave the stock a “neutral” rating in a report on Thursday. They now have a Dollars 25 price target on the stock. They now have a Dollars 27 price target on the stock. They now have a Dollars 29 price target on the stock. They now have a United States dollars 33 price target on the stock. Stock’s minimum price target estimates has been figured out at $36.00 while the maximum price target forecast is established at $22.50.
