Ed Hochuli Denies Making Not ‘Old Enough’ Comment To Cam Newton

“I didn’t think you had to have seniority to get a personal foul or anything like that, ‘” Newton told reporters.

PRO FOOTBALL FOCUS GAME GRADES FOR NO-CAR: Defensive tackles Kyle Love and Kawann Short both earned the highest grades on defense, while Cam Newton, Ryan Kalil and Andrew Norwell were recognized as the top performers on the offensive side of the ball. “And outside the pocket you don’t get the two-step protection and so when you look at the play, Cam threw on the run, there was some contact, it wasn’t late and it wasn’t a foul”. But Newton said that he was “ticked off” about it during his presser and cautioned other young quarterbacks about Hochuli.

Even though we can’t see the first thing Hochuli says to Newton, there’s no reaction from the quarterback matching the incredulous one he describes.

“I certainly wasn’t there, but I’ve spoken to Ed”, Blandino said. “I was rolling out trying to string out the play and create some type of opportunity to get a completion and the defensive lineman, you know, kind of hit me”. But for his response to be what it was, I’m not old enough to get that call?

Newton looked to Hochuli, and upon getting a response, Newton could be seen shaking his head demonstratively in a show of disagreement.

“So heaven forbid [Hochuli] gets any rookies, or they’re gonna have a long day, man”. The Carolina Panthers player is always seeking to work with children, and now he’s going to be helping them to live out their biggest goals on the brand new inspiring series. “And we’ve had situations in the past where an official said something inappropriate to a player, and we’ve disciplined them”. So there is a process in place and we would have to go through that process to see if we could pick up what was actually said.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera refused to address the issue on Monday saying, “It was addressed by Cam yesterday and the league has addressed it and we’re going to leave it at that”. “It’s the posture that he’s in and was there a violation”. But he did think the official got it right by not throwing a flag. I’m willing to file a request and pay the fee to get that done.
