Indeed, the only money worries Wadge has concerns what to do with the money she is earning from her co-writer credit on the song.

Singer Ed Sheeran says he has learnt the hard way that it is important to keep one’s personal life out of public eye.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Sheeran oeuvre, “Thinking Out Loud” is a track that appeared on Sheeran’s second album, X, which just so happened to be the most-streamed album in the world for 2014.

“She was going through financial troubles about a year ago”, Ed revealed in an interview with The Mirror. “Thinking Out Loud” was eventually released as a single and hit number one in the Official Charts, spending 19 weeks in the Top 40 in total.

Ed – who recently revealed he’s taking a nine month break from music (SOB) – added: ‘She’s got a family and two kids and stuff and every time I speak to her, she’s going on holiday. It’s really nice to see. They had written a song together when they were 17 & Amy was hoping the song would feature on Ed’s deluxe album so she could profit from the revenues. It also opened new opportunities for Amy as Ben Haenow and Geri Horner (formerly Halliwell) are now seeking for her help in making a hit.

He said: “I’ve learned a lot of things being in this industry by doing things right and doing things wrong”.
