Eddie Jones heaps praise on England after exciting victory in Brisbane
Fly-half Farrell was moved out one position to centre, George Ford came on at 10 and, within three minutes, England secured a lead they would never relinquish.

England coach Eddie Jones has accused the Wallabies camp of running an organised campaign to unsettle his team through their Test series.
Not impressed: Eddie Jones has labelled a question from former Wallaby and Fox Sports pundit Stephen Hoiles at the post-match press conference as “disrespectful” before lashing out at the Australian media.
“We can’t get too excited”, he said, “but the great thing about it is that if you have a three-Test series and you’re in it in the second Test, you are pretty excited”.
England’s Matt Mullan (R) hugs team mate Paul Hill after their win against Australia’s Wallabies.
A Farrell penalty got England off the mark but it was still one-way traffic as they struggled to cope with Australia’s pace and power – at least until a dose of good fortune fell their way.
“I think they had a lot of ball in the first 20 minutes, we struggled to get a foothold in the game, we struggled to get field position”. We want to win this series and we have got an opportunity on Saturday, so we will be as desperate as the Australians, even more desperate.
Australia coach Cheika was left to rue the penalty count against his side, describing some of French referee Romain Poite’s decisions as “odd”.
“We have made history today but it’s not good enough for us – it’s all about next week. But that’s life, you’ve got to go with the punches”.
Eddie Jones has hit out at former Wallabies back-rower Stephen Hoiles, labelling him “disrespectful” after a “ridiculous” question in a freaky press conference stunt after England’s victory on Saturday evening.
“We can improve significantly in our ball carrying and our second man work, we can improve significantly in terms of our defence spacing and we can still put more pressure on Australia at the set piece”.
“Obviously (we’ll miss) the skills he brings to the game and that dynamic we have in the back row with Michael and Scott but we’ll probably create a different type of complementary nature now”. It’s all about next week.
“We didn’t play well”.
Pocock is a master of the breakdown and emerged from last autumn’s World Cup as a superstar of the game, finishing with more steals than any other player.
“In years gone by it might have been games tagged on at the end of the year, but the way we’ve prepared for this tour, the way we’ve made this group exclusive and it’s special to be here”.

“There’s options there that have experience in the frontline”, Cheika told reporters at Brisbane airport before the team’s departure to Melbourne for Saturday’s second Test at AAMI Park.
