Eddie Lacy, Davante Adams return to Packers practice

He suffered the ankle injury on Sunday night against the Seattle Seahawks and he was not able to return after being carted off the field. Top running back Eddie Lacy and starting wideout Davante Adams now appear very likely to play after the team listed both as probable on the latest injury report.

The Packers also list safety Morgan Burnett (calf) as questionable after he did not practice Saturday.

Both participated on a limited basis on Saturday.

With Jordy Nelson in the fold, Lacy and Adams have become the main weapons for All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers to utilize. “Monday night game, so we have a lot of time left. He’s an excellent communicator, number one, a heck of a football player, is involved in your matchup plans, things like that, so he’s definitely one of our best players on defense”.

Veteran cornerback Sam Shields (calf) was added to the injury report Sunday.

The Packers are already without Jordy Nelson for the season and that puts more pressure on Adams, Cobb and James Jones for Rodgers. Jones has shown a knack for finding the endzone and he previously set a career high back in 2012 with 14 touchdowns while playing with Rodgers.
