“I’m thirsty. I’m hungry to fulfill my dream of being the champion”, Correia said in Bloody Elbow.

However, things turned very sour back in May when Correia told reporters in Brazil: “There are a lot of people around [Ronda Rousey] because she is winning”. Rousey has gone on document stating that she hates Correia greater than her rival Miesha Tate, which ought to make for an fascinating battle. In an interview with MMA Junkie, she said that like every human being, Rousey has her weaknesses.

“Ronda has this characteristic of being this almighty ideal fighter, and the media’s created this illusion that she’s unbeatable”. Perhaps we’ll see him cageside at one of her upcoming fights. It took a while for her to be green-lighted, medically and officially, into going heavy and hard training and sparring sessions. The best basketball player on the planet, and one of the stars of the new movie Trainwreck, recently responded to a fan on Twitter who asked him “how long would you last in the ring with Ronda Rousey?” Tarverdyan said that a third fight would not be healthy for Tate’s career because Rousey would beat her badly should the two collide again in the UFC Octagon.

Since losing to Rousey, Tate has racked up four consecutive victories, including her unanimous decision win against Jessica Eye at UFC on Fox 16 on Saturday.
