After the 11-hour search of Fogle’s home on Tuesday, the 37-year-old spokesman has not been charged with any crime.
Fogle has not been arrested or charged, but sources said the raid was related to a child pornography investigation. The only other person listed in the documents is Joy Hafner, who was identified as the executive director in 2007 and 2008, and a paid ex- executive director in 2009. “Jared continues to cooperate with authorities, and he expects no actions to be forthcoming”.
Jared has been associated with Subway for about 15 years.
Federal prosecutors in May filed a criminal complaint charging Taylor, 43, with seven counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. The next year, Subway scored the title of “Most Loved Fast-Food Chain in the U.S.” in YouGov’s BrandIndex Buzz Rankings. The company released a statement on Twitter, saying they are “shocked about the news”.
Fogle first rose to spokesperson fame after Subway heard that he had dropped 245 pounds by regularly eating their sandwiches while he was a student at Indiana University.
Jared Fogle, left, the now-former Subway spokesman, and his attorney Ron Elberger leave Fogle’s Zionsville, Ind., home Tuesday, July 7, 2015. In that investigation authorities found a cache of explicit photos and videos of children.
Taylor’s attorney, Brad Banks, said Tuesday his client was briefly hospitalized after the allegations surfaced but is now in federal custody.
Numerous images appeared to have been made in bedrooms and bathrooms at Taylor’s ex- and current homes, police said.
“The only thing I can say is that I’m aware that there’s an ongoing investigation”, Banks said.
Special agent Wendy Osborne, an FBI spokeswoman for the Indianapolis field office, confirmed that there was activity being conducted in the Zionsville area by the FBI and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, but said she could not disclose the nature of the investigation. He declined to comment on Tuesday’s raid at Fogle’s home. The sandwich chain has since removed any mention of him form its website and all social media channels.

“It was a very sad situation that came out of that, but my goal is to make something very positive out of all this”, he said.
