On Monday, Trump held talks with Egypt’s leader Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in New York City on the sidelines of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly.

Trump has been granted an audience with just one other foreign leader as a candidate: Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, who invited the mogul to meet with him in Mexico last month.
Trump said local police often know who “a lot of these people are” but “they are afraid to do anything about it because they don’t want to be accused of profiling”. “I believe that that statement was not made after our most recent meeting between myself and Mrs. Clinton”, Sisi said.
He added: “Sisi’s meeting with Trump is a must if he will meet Clinton”.
The high-level meeting in New York City focused on political, military and economic cooperation between the USA and Egypt, according to a readout of the meeting released by the Trump campaign.
Gingrich, opening for Trump at a rally Monday in Florida, said the Republican nominee was “telling the truth” and was “describing a bomb as though it were a bomb”.
Clinton’s campaign seized on the public back-and-forth between the Mexican leader and Trump, with the Democratic nominee calling it Trump’s “embarrassing global incident”. The Russian leader is not expected to attend this year’s General Assembly.not expected to attend this year’s General Assembly.

Clinton’s campaign says they discussed counterterrorism efforts, economic development and human rights, and Clinton asked the Egyptian leader to release American citizen Aya Hijazi, who has been imprisoned since 2014. Trump has been critical of the Obama administration’s support of Mubarak’s removal.
He told delegates he was departing from the written text of his speech to make an appeal that will bring “prosperity and peace to both the Israelis and the Palestinians”.
The initial probe into foreign funding had been launched amid a crackdown against civil society groups following the 18-day uprising that ousted president Hosni Mubarak in early 2011 and left the military in charge.
Some Coptic Christians are enthusiastic supporters of el Sisi because of the persecution which took place under his predecessor, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi. Responding simply, Sisi said “no doubt”.

The former officials say Trump’s overseas ties could affect the foreign policy Trump might pursue as president and seem to have “already influenced the policy positions he has taken as a candidate”. The meeting will likely highlight Clinton’s commitment to U.S. alliances in Japan and South Korea and the USA belief that it is up to China to do more to convince its ally in Pyongyang to turn away from its nuclear path.
