Wachter said the vehicle has yet to be processed for evidence, and witnesses had yet to be interviewed.

The passenger was taken into custody.

Police spokesman T.J. Smith said the victims included six males and two females – including the young girl. There is also some body cam footage not of the shooting itself, but from a responding officer that has yet to be released. That patrol sergeant encountered a vehicle in that line of vehicles. “At some point, the sergeant fired multiple times”.

The shootings happened after a deadly rampage in the USA state of Washington Friday night, when 20-year-old Arcan Cetrin opened fire at a shopping mall, killing 4 women instantly. Several residents were gathered outside as officers worked the scene. The FBI said he was responsible for robberies on September 1 at the Wells Fargo Bank in Dundalk; on September 9 at the BB&T Bank in Hamilton; and on Tuesday at the Wells Fargo Bank in Parkville.

None of the victims were seriously hurt, they added. The suspect, 20-year-old Arcan Cetin of Oak Harbor, was apprehended by the police today. The attackers fled on foot, the Baltimore Sun reported. The FBI dubbed him The Aviator because of the style of sunglasses he wore during the alleged robberies.

About 90 minutes later, police found a 28-year-old man shot in the arm in the 4300 block of York Road in the Guilford area of North Baltimore. “We don’t know yet what happened during that interaction between the vehicle that was shot at and the officer”, Wachter said.

It appeared that the attack was retaliation for a shooting on Labor Day in which a man was killed and two women wounded, the police said.
