‘Elder Scrolls 6’ Release Date and Rumors: Game Still Unconfirmed as Rumor
Most would see this as a misstep in game development, but the world of “Fallout 4” capitalizes on the desire for exploration with an vast and delicately-crafted nuclear wasteland. It then extends to choosing where you wander on the map, who you interact with, how you respond to what other characters say, what tasks you take on, which items you carry with you and so much more. However, don’t try and buy the bundle if you live in the Russian Federation, Poland, India, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, or Lebanon. An early mission pushes the player to help revitalize a settlement, but this act is handled poorly since the building tools are not clearly communicated. The settlement aspect is purely optional, but has a nice hook to it, giving you a satisfying sense of developing a society (much like Bethesda’s mobile “Fallout Shelter” title). A copy of the PlayStation 4 version was provided by Bethesda for the purposes of this review. They may not be the best moral arbiters, but they’re the closest thing the game has to one. One is that it is the most streamlined out of the entire franchise, which can be seen as either good or bad.
The game does an excellent job of providing a setting and a broad story before letting the player work through things in their own way.
The only gripe I have with combat is that the iconic VATS system, which now slows down time rather than stopping it, seems completely useless.
The game has become one of the biggest anticipations in the history of gaming after the previous installments immediately became chart-toppers worldwide.
The architecture of the buildings in the game resembles what people in the ’40s and ’50s thought the future would look like. The developer has a reputation to keep and boy do they keep it. I’ve encountered crashes, animation errors, and an annoying glitch where my gun models disappear. Wandering off in a random direction, unsure of what awaits you over the horizon, is thrilling and provides an experience that few other games can.
Story and storytelling has never been a strength for Bethesda, and Fallout 4 is no exception. As a member of the press that got to check out Fallout 4 ahead of the release date, it was quite refreshing to go into a game not knowing what to expect.

And towards the end of the game, large numbers of fetch quests translate into a lot of fast-travelling from location to location – with long load times, which starts to irritate.
