In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Malam Garba Shehu, the President said he was deeply touched by the mindless incidents of violence on innocent people during the month of Ramadan.

Three days after the attack, Chad said it had launched an air assault on Boko Haram positions in Nigeria near Chad.
Security has been further stepped up in Chad’s capital, with frequent identity checks and searches since the suicide bombings.
The explosion – which the eyewitness described as a suicide attack – occurred in the capital’s Diguel district.

As per a resident, Souleymane Brahim, the first explosion had been heard early Monday in the Dinguessou neighborhood of N’Djamena, and whereas, the second came onto action minutes later.
