And Prescott will still have vets with him in the huddle, namely 2014 All-Pro receiver Dez Bryant, who is healthy after a broken foot in last year’s opener against the Giants slowed him for the rest of the season.

On Sunday, in his very first National Football League start replacing the injured Tony Romo, Prescott hopes to take those lessons and implement that poise in an effort to beat Eli’s Giants. “The one thing I took from Eli is just his demeanor and how calm he was about everything”, Prescott said.
“I think I’m like everybody else, yes, what [Prescott] did in the preseason was awesome, and it’s so wonderful no one is giving much thought – or at least it’s not been discussed a great deal from what I can [tell] – about [Tony] Romo going down”. I learned a lot. It might be a toss up to who gets more of the carries though as well as who gets the red zone touches. “Hoping for a speedy recovery so he can get back real soon”. Prescott isn’t in that situation. Now Prescott gets to see how it translates to the regular season. “He had a setback.’ They might shut him down that way”. But the Dallas coaches will construct a game plan that will help Prescott succeed.
“I think they’ll throw some stuff at me that I haven’t seen, see how I react, see how I handle it being a rookie”, Prescott added.
The injured reserve assured Tony Romo would not play in a contest until November 6.
