Elizabeth Warren coy on meeting with Joe Biden
She said she’d encourage more research into the effects of legalization. “It’s all I’m thinking about”.

Biden has been considering a possible campaign for president in 2016, but has not yet announced his intentions. “We had lunch and we talked about policy”. We talked about what’s happening to America’s middle class. We talked about the direction that this country has been going in. We talked about the capture of this country by those who’ve got money and power.
Appearing at a Boston Globe event, Warren said that she and Biden discussed policy at length at their August 22 lunch in Washington, which fueled speculation that the veep is preparing to join the race.
Warren’s statements came a day after she said that the possibility she would run as a vice presidential candidate in the 2016 election is “something I’m not talking about”.
In a “Political Happy Hour” at Suffolk University on Wednesday, however, Warren downplayed the political significance of her rendezvous with Biden. Former U.S. Sens. Lincoln Chaffee and Jim Webb have also launched longshot bids.
Asked another way, Warren was similarly noncommittal about serving out her full six-year term, which ends in January 2019.
“I have a job”, she said, “and my job is to go down to Washington and fight for the people of Massachusetts”. “I’ve met with Secretary Clinton”, she said, adding that she’s also met with Sen.
