Elizabeth Warren says she’ll put ‘every ounce of energy’ toward Clinton effort
“That’s my belief”, said Kaine, adding, “There’s going to be room to make some things happen”. “So I was saddened by it”.

She said she would focus on how the newly minted Republican nominee for president “has hurt people in business time after time after time”.
Ms. Clinton’s choice may help her shore up support in the swing state of Virginia, but isn’t likely to put the purple state solidly in the blue category. “Torque solos americans todos”, Kaine said, which translates as “Welcome to everyone in our country because we are all Americans”.
At a news conference Sunday, Norman Solomon, a Sanders delegate from California and national coordinator of a group of Sanders delegates called the Bernie Delegates Network, said Kaine’s positions on a range of issues were unacceptable to Sanders supporters.
Kaine chimed in, praising Clinton for how she has handled Trump’s insults, which the senator called “ridiculous”.
And late last month, Republican nominee, Donald Trump escalated the rhetoric, proclaiming the TPP is a “rape of our country” and challenging Hillary Clinton to void the agreement in its entirety.
Friends said the church is a place of refuge for the Kaines, where they forget about politics for a bit.
“Fe, familia y trabajo” was how Tim Kaine defined his life and public service around faith, family and work at his first campaign event as Hillary Clinton’s running mate.
“And when he says, as he did say, “I alone can fix it” he’s not only wrong, he’s dangerously wrong”, said Clinton as she introduced Kaine to the nation.
“Absolutely. I made a mistake”.
Kaine, for his part, described himself as a “utility player”.
And in a recent C-SPAN interview he said: “I do what I do for spiritual reasons”. But the effort was complicated by the publication of 19,000 hacked emails on the website Wikileaks, suggesting the Democratic National Committee had played favorites for Clinton during the primary.

“He is qualified to step into this job and lead on day one, and he is a progressive who likes to get things down”, said the former Secretary of State, with a grinning Kaine at her side. “There is nothing this Pope could do that would improve the world as much as putting the Church on a path to ordain women”.
