NBC News reported that Warren would make the endorsement official during an interview on “The Rachel Maddow Show”, which went on the air at 9 p.m.

Elizabeth Warren of MA on Tuesday endorsed presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s presidential candidacy, imploring the party to coalesce behind Clinton after her fierce primary battle with Bernie Sanders. One thing both of them have in common is a disdain for Wall Street; with so many attempts lately being made to roll back the Dodd-Frank Act and reform the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)-of which Warren was a chief architect-Clinton told Bloomberg that she plans to work with Warren and others on plans for tougher Wall Street regulation.
“Whether it’s the Wall Street speech transcripts she refuses to release, her ties to the fossil fuel industry, or coziness with big banks, Hillary Clinton represents everything Elizabeth Warren supposedly stands against”.
The Massachusetts Democrat, who now joins every other Democratic female US senator in supporting Clinton, told the Globe, “I’m ready to jump in this fight and make sure that Hillary Clinton is the next president of the United States and be sure that Donald Trump gets nowhere near the White House”. The Vermont senator has vowed to stay in the race at least through Tuesday, when Washington, D.C., holds its primary.
“He brought millions of people into the political process, he brought millions of people into the Democratic Party and for me that’s what this is all about”, she added.
Warren, a hero of progressive Democrats, is the latest party leader to fall in line behind Clinton after she clinched the requisite number of delegates earlier this week over rival Bernie Sanders. “I’m supporting Hillary Clinton because she’s a fighter, a fighter with guts”.
Warren praised Sanders’ campaign in her interview with Maddow on Thursday.
“I’m ready”, Warren said, according to the Globe.
While Clinton did not speak specifically as to whom she’s considering to have join her on the ticket, the presumptive Democratic nominee offered that it could be another woman.
“There’s a lot of speculation”, she said at the Massachusetts Democratic Convention. “Harry Reid will do what he does”.
