The US media has suggested that Warren could be a candidate for Clinton’s vice presidential slot. Elizabeth Warren as her running mate in a tweet on Friday morning, a remark that sparked a quick putdown from the senator.

Bernie Sanders met face-to-face with President Obama at the White House on Thursday, after which Sanders gave nervous Democrats a handful of reasons to exhale.
MADDOW: And I know you’re not seeking the job and I know you love being a senator. Clinton is scheduled to address the Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) Friday in Washington, D.C. Since this tweet wasn’t signed “-Hillary”, it was most likely her staff who runs her Twitter account that wrote it. Maddow asked. “And by that I mean the most important job of being a vice president is to be ready to be president if, God forbid, something happened to the Commander in Chief”.
“Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is playing the long game to get exactly what she wants out of presidential politics – specifically, to make economic populism go mainstream”. In making the case against Trump on issues that were once considered too polarizing, Clinton is signalling to Sanders’s supporters and other Democrats that she will not shy away from the party’s core principal issues.
President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden also announced their support of Clinton on Thursday, handing her a trio of endorsements expected to boost her standing heading into the general election campaign.
“I want those of you who have been with me since the beginning of this incredible journey to be the first to know that I’m with her”, Obama said.
But what if Clinton floats an offer for Vice President?!
Trump’s struggle to unify Republicans behind his insurgent candidacy was apparent at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s “Road to Majority” conference, where several speakers studiously avoided speaking his name.
“I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office”, Obama said. And he brought millions of people into the Democratic Party. They discussed the need for the national conversation to continue to focus on the defining fight of our time: “retaining and expanding access to the middle class, and the need for the Democratic Party to continue to embrace these new voters as we work toward victory in November”.
Soon after Obama endorsed former secretary of state Clinton, the Clinton Campaign said they would canvass together in Wisconsin on June 15.

Obama taped his endorsement video at the White House on Tuesday, before Clinton claimed victory in the primary, and had alerted Sanders earlier in the week that it was coming.
