Bradley Cooper found the fake baby in American Sniper as amusing as everyone else.

While the prior explanation was that both real babies became unavailable the day of shooting, apparently the real truth is that Clint Eastwood thinks real babies are too “unpredictable” so a fake one would save time.
Cooper laughed, hysterically at times, as he recalled the experience of working with the doll on Monday’s Ellen. But I’ll be damned if establishing a relationship with a squirrel community doesn’t make you a cute old man. Then they both enthusiastically agree that Eastwood is really amusing, which, um, I’ll just take your word for it.
She then played a clip of that appearance, in which Miller also laughs as she watches footage from the scene of Cooper as Chris Kyle cradling his daughter, in which many moviegoers noticed that a doll was used instead of a real baby. “To try and make it look like a live baby he does a wiggle with the arm”, she said. “I don’t know how Hollywood works, but I’m pretty sure that I’m dating Bradley Cooper” said the stand-up comedian according to Inquisitr. “I fell in love with that plastic thing”. “So I just thought she would’ve been incredible, and she was”, he added.
She continued, “I kept trying to get her out of the picture and you were like, ‘No, no no!”
“He always really goes quite deep (into his characters) and is obviously incredibly versatile as an actor so it was great, we get along really well”, she gushes.
