Ellen DeGeneres Pokes Fun at Starbucks’ “Satan Sipper” Holiday Cups: “How Dare”
The cup made headlines when popular Facebook preacher and former TV and radio evangelist, Joshua Feuerstein, posted a Facebook video to his 1.8 million followers claiming that Starbucks was deliberately attacking Christianity and the birth of Jesus through its lack of Christmastime cup décor.

Never one to miss an opportunity to get his two cents in, Trump has come out in support of Feuerstein’s campaign.
There was speculation on Wednesday that Dunkin’ Donuts designed its holiday cups in direct response to the Starbucks controversy and to win over consumers miffed by Starbucks’ blank slate approach. There is no way they could have ordered the millions of cups this franchise is going to need through the holiday season a few days ago so they can take advantage of Starbucks predicament! He lambastes Starbucks for leaving Christmas off their holiday cups. “I don’t remember Starbucks ever being a Christian company, do you?” the actress continued.
The outrage over the cup’s design went viral, with a number of customers attempting to stick it to Starbucks by giving baristas their names as “Merry Christmas”, forcing employees to write the word “Christmas” on the cup.
The iconic red cup has held many different designs since it first appeared in 1997.
Admittedly, I still don’t understand what the controversy behind Starbucks’ red holiday cups is all about. He says, “I decided instead of simply boycotting, well why don’t we just start a movement”. But if you choose to drink Dunkin’ coffee because you think they celebrated the holiday season “better”, that’s your prerogative. “No more Merry Christmas on Starbucks”, Trump told a crowd in IL earlier this week. “That I can tell you”.

Others aren’t as amused by the whole war on Christmas though.
