Sia confirmed she will reveal her face in public one day, but insisted she is building “up to it”.
Sia, the Australia singer behind hits like “Alive”, “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart”, opened up about her infamous wig during a Tuesday appearance on “Ellen“. “But whenever you perform, you do not like to show your face, and I don’t think people understand why”. Sia responded saying how she wanted to hide her face to protect her privacy.
She then encourages Sia to take off her wig for the cameras and studio audience. “I thought this one was such a smash”, Sia told Zane Lowe earlier this year. “Are you going to do it?” “It’s just so I can go to Target and buy a hose if I want to”.
Sia has a new album on the way and the singer-songwriter revealed that she has a number of songs lined up that were intended for Katy Perry and Adele, among others. She further talked on how it was living in the spotlight brought about by her music career.
