Ellen Page Makes Red Carpet Debut with her Girlfriend
ELLEN PAGE brought her girlfriend along to the Toronto Film Festival as the couple went public with their romance.

Freeheld stars Ellen Page and Julianne Moore were busy women at the Toronto global Film Fest this weekend, each attending back-to-back premieres for films in which they starred.
“Walking down the carpet holding my girlfriend’s hand is fairly particular”, the 28-year-old informed, additionally declaring with a smile, “I am in love!”
“It’s pretty awesome”, she added. She talked further about the incident with the Daily Beast where she said, “I’ve been making this show with Vice and I’ve talked to a lot of very homophobic people over the past year”. For their first-time official walk on the red carpet, the Inception actress dressed in a Saint Laurent suit complete with a skinny tie.
According to Daily Mail, Ellen’s best friend Ruby Rose is all out support for her pal’s latest project.
Big moment: Ellen and the artist have been dating for several months and when asked why she chose to make their first red carpet appearance together at the Freeheld premiere, the Juno star said simply: ‘I’m in love’. Page’s girlfriend Samantha Thomas was also on hand for the occasion. And that whole hand-in-hand smug-couple-on-the-red-carpet thing is just totally valuable.
She captioned the pic, “When you’re not sure if you’re a YSL Campaign or really stylish waiters”. She also expressed how proud she is of her best friend, Page. Given that she is now proudly showing of her relationship to the world, the movie makes a statement out of it.

The film is based on the true story of New Jersey State Police Lieutenant Laurel Hester, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2005 and died in 2006, and her partner Stacie Andree.
