At five times the size of the current visitor centre it will showcase interactive and immersive pop culture experiences that connect to Elvis’ personal interests and activities throughout his life, including his passion for automobiles and new technology. It is part of a $137 million expansion that includes the construction of a $92 million hotel.
For about three decades, Graceland’s visitors have been flowing through aging, gray, flat-roofed buildings to see exhibits highlighting Presley’s career, a vehicle museum, souvenir shops and restaurants.
“Regarding the denial to enter the permitted area for Graceland’s festivities, Graceland Security was present and either granted or denied access within the permitted area”.
The album, which is available on CD, vinyl and digital download, includes master recordings and outtakes newly mixed at Phillips Recording Service in Memphis, the studio that Sun Studio founder Sam Phillips built after leaving Sun when his original lease on the building that housed Sun ended.

Managers of Elvis Presley’s storied Graceland home in Memphis, Tenn., have announced a $45 million expansion project, the largest and most significant expansion since the property opened to the public in 1982. A 20,000-square-foot event space will also feature live music performances, movie screenings and premieres. The complex will also have a diner, a barbecue restaurant, an ice cream shop, retail stores full of Presley-related merchandise and the Graceland Soundstage, which will have seating for 2,000 people. The 450-room hotel is set to open October 27.
