Elvis the cobra put up a fight with animal control officers
Mike Kennedy, who stars in the reality TV show Airplane Repo reported the snake, known as “Elvis” missing from its enclosure on September 2nd, triggering a massive hunt that proved unsuccessful until 11 pm Wednesday night.

Mullvain soon called animal control, and three animal officers, Jennifer Porter, Kirsten Smith, and Billy Ledford, wrangled the 8-foot snake into a cat cage.
But, as it turned out, the snake was not still on Kennedy’s property but had made its way to the neighboring town of Ocoee, where it settled in behind the dryer of a local woman – no doubt waiting for a dog or small child to come along and serve as its dinner. “All this lady was confident was at that it would be was also a largest snake”.
Cynthia Mullvain told CNN affiliate WESH that she heard hissing coming from underneath the dryer in her garage Wednesday and contacted authorities.
“Somebody has to take care of these critters”, she said.
“I did notice when I was there it was acting aggressive and, of course, was hissing”, Ledford said, according to USA Today.
Mike Kennedy pleaded not guilty this week to a misdemeanor charge for failing to immediately report the snake missing.
And a witty Twitter user even created an account for the missing snake with the tagline, “I’m on the loose in Orlando. I then put the contained snake in a secondary soft carrier that I had in the truck, double-securing the snake”. However, Kennedy could still face heavy fines for losing the deadly snake.

Meanwhile, Elvis has been returned to Kennedy’s ranch after his wife, Valerie, positively identified the snake and state wildlife officials scanned the reptile for microchip-identification.
