Email: Clinton campaign tried to move back Illinois primary

Catholic and evangelical groups slammed Hillary Clinton’s campaign in a statement Thursday over comments revealed in the WikiLeaks emails hack between two high-level campaign officials.

The emails, published Thursday by the website WikiLeaks, were apparently obtained from the account of John Podesta, the Clinton campaign chairman.

USA intelligence and law enforcement officials have blamed Russian intelligence agencies for earlier hacks of Democratic Party organizations and are investigating whether the Podesta hack is part of the same effort. “I’m supporting all the Republican nominees in this fall’s election, but what’s encouraging to me is despite the fact that some Republicans have chose to go a different direction, the overwhelming majority of leaders and Republicans are standing with Donald Trump as the next president of the United States”.

Mills appeared to like the idea, at least initially.

Throughout the campaign, Hillary Clinton has been castigated by Republicans and even some Democrats for paid speeches she and her husband have delivered to Wall Street firms.

“As a longtime political activist with deep ties to our party, I supported all of our candidates for president”.

Former Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius – who oversaw the rollout – resigned from her post on April 11, 2014, a few weeks after Tanden’s email was sent. Podesta says that people have reminded him, “Richardson is still on TV a lot, especially on Univision and Telemundo and, notwithstanding the fact that he can be a d–, it was worth getting him in a good place”.

In a Twitter discussion with Intercept founder Glenn Greenwald, Tufekci argued that these mass leaks often contain internal machinations and gossip from within a campaign, which might be interesting from a historical context, but don’t really have any larger news or social value.

For his part, Podesta has not responded to questions about individual emails but said the Federal Bureau of Investigation contacted him over the weekend and confirmed it was investigating the hacking of his account as part of the ongoing probe in other Democratic Party hacking by groups with Russian ties. “Their rich friends wouldn’t understand if they became evangelicals”. Watergate and the Pentagon Papers spring to mind. Clinton had refused to release transcripts of the speeches, despite repeated calls to do so by her Democratic primary opponent, Sen. Does that justify the hacking and leak of a person’s private email?

It seems that no matter what scandal or past dirt is dug up on Clinton, she just keeps on rolling.
