Emily Blunt to Star in ‘The Girl on the Train’ Adaptation
While Rachel rides the train to and from London every day, she notices a handsome couple, Scott and Megan, whose lives she envies as they look happy. Theroux, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is in negotiations to play the ex-husband of our heroine (Emily Blunt), who struggles with alcoholism as well as keeping her distance from her ex and his new wife (Rebecca Ferguson).

Theroux, who we’ve now been tolerating on The Leftovers, will step into a cast featuring Jared Leto, Emily Blunt, Haley Bennett, and Edgar Ramirez.
Fans of Chris Evans will feel disappointed after hearing that due to the clash in scheduling issues of his two upcoming movies, the Marvel’s “Captain America” has left the in-the-process movie adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ bestselling psychological thriller novel, “The Girl on the Train”.
“The Girl on the Train” is scheduled for release in theaters on October 7, 2016. On her daily commute she becomes obsessed with a couple she spies from the train. She’s even started to feel like she knows them.
Finally, Rihanna will star alongside her real-life BFF Cara Delevingne in “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets”, which is based on a graphic novel set in the 28th century and a time-traveling agent who travels to investigate a galactic empire. When she thinks she’s witnessed a murder, matters take a freaky turn for the worse. Has she done more harm than good?

The star-studded picture – also starring Édgar Ramírez – is to be directed by The Help’s Tate Taylor, with a script written by Erin Cressida Wilson.
