The 45-year-old songstress has sold over 200 million albums and claimed 18 number one singles in the United States since her debut into the music industry in 1988. After a stellar profession which continues to be going robust, the singer was lastly honoured with a Hollywood Stroll of Fame show star.
It seems Mariah has even more news to celebrate, as Lee revealed information about her screen career at the event.
Who do you think Mariah Carey should play on Empire?
Carey, dressed in a long, black sleeveless sheath, took centre stage with her twins Monroe and Moroccan, thanking the special guests and fans for coming.
Carey later admitted she was moved by Daniels’ speech, as well as remarks made by filmmaker pal Brett Ratner, record executive LA Reid and BET Programming President Stephen Hill.
“I’m already in trouble with my publicist”, he joked.
