The insider tells the publication, “He popped the question and she was totally surprised and elated”.
The 32-year-old posted an image, which showed them revelling together and some of their other co-stars for his wife-to-be’s birthday celebration.
The duo celebrated their engagement as well as Miz Gealey’s 31st birthday with their fellow castmates. Happy Birthday to an exquisite human being!
And, posting her own photo collage, Grace wrote: “To all who sent greetings, called, messaged and came out to celebrate yesterday, thank you”.
And after thanking the Chicago eatery where they had enjoyed their evening, he also dropped a hint about their proposal by saying they had an ‘UNFORGETTABLE night.’.
“We all have our weak moments as women so to know that there’s someone who loves us when we’re feeling insecure and is ready to pump us up when we feel like we didn’t give the best presentation at work?”
Gealey, 30, who plays Anika Calhoun in the show, has kept quiet about to her relationship to Byers, 33, so far. It was an incredibly unforgettable day.
