Empire airs in the UK on E4, although there’s no word yet on when the new series will begin airing this side of the pond.

At this summer’s Television Critics Association meeting Thursday, Lee Daniels announced “Empire“, the musical drama he co-created with Danny Strong, will birth a spin-off.

Empire returns for its second season on September 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.

Daniels, who first made a name for himself in film with critically acclaimed work such as Precious and The Butler, also confirmed that he is working on another music themed show for FOX.

“I never stopped loving you”, Luscious said. I said We are lucky to be employed.

“I found that, the more celebrities that I put on this show, the more it takes away from the family”, Daniels explained as quoted by Entertainment Weekly.

But Daniels chalked up the controversy to social media users misinterpreting his “twisted” sense of humor.

A spinoff of “Empire” is likely, Daniels said. “Family is what the story’s about”.

Eggleston, 53, said in her lawsuit that she embodies the character in almost every important respect, including a penchant for wearing mink. “And also, I don’t happen to be a drug dealer”. It’s about the truthful experience. “Prime-time network television has been so safe for so long, and I think that’s why Empire has had the impact that it has had-because it’s nearly the cable formula”. “I’m humble and grateful for Fox allowing me to do that”.

Henson said the envelope-pushing quality of the show gave it a cable flavor that clearly clicked with viewers.

“Here Cookie is now, but how did she get to where she’s at right now?” he shared.

Tomei’s not the only exciting guest star to be featured in the Season 2 trailer. But he’s always mindful of going overboard with stunt casting.

“I think there is going to be a spinoff from Empire without question”, he emphasised.

As they did in Season 1, the storylines in “Empire” will have parallels to real-life events and incidents, but Chaiken pointed out that the writers aren’t necessarily chasing trends.

Because there will be more episodes this season, Daniels also said that the pacing will slow down “a little” in season two. “If I did that, that’s exactly where they would send me”.
