On Friday night, the spire of One World Trade Center was lit up in blue, white, and red – the colors of the French flag – to honor the victims of a series of attacks in Paris that occurred the same night.

Saturday will be the second consecutive night the 102-story NY landmark will not be lit up. The governor said the act shows NY stands with the people of France.
“We join them in mourning those who were killed, and in praying for those who were injured or lost loved ones”.
Cuomo said the 408-foot spire was set to be illuminated Friday night and would remain so in the days to come.
