England beat Pakistan to lead ODI series by 4-0
Bairstow was drafted in as a last-minute replacement for Jos Buttler.

Sarfraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik shared a 163-run partnership to give Pakistan a four-wicket victory in the fifth and final ODI on Sunday and deny England a series sweep.
By contrast they are a lowly ninth in the ODI table, with the 1992 champions in danger of failing to qualify automatically for the 2019 World Cup in England.
But he wishes he could be a regular.
Moeen said: “We’ve been excellent for most of this series and we’re going to try and get this whitewash”.
“Naturally, I’m frustrated not to be in that XI week in, week out”, he said.
“Every time I get an opportunity I want to try to impress, and that is all I can do”.
“We’ve got young players who can change things, but it will take time”.
Bairstow has been in outstanding form all year, and has made nearly 1,000 Test runs since January, including in a memorable stand with Stokes against South Africa at Cape Town.
“I just went (back) there once”.
Certainly Morgan noted the benefit after the match, saying: “I think our best is good enough to beat most sides”. Hussain, who captained England in 56 ODIs during his 88-match career, stated that his all-time England 50-over side would feature the current side’s entire batting order, cricket.com.au reported.
Adding to the significance of the moment for Bairstow, his Man-of-the-Match performance came on his late father’s birthday.
Jordan, though, was a mixed bag in his first spell with 21 runs coming from his first two overs but he was the bowler to break the opening stand when Sharjeel Khan, who had again showed his penchant for the pull off the hip, skied into the off side when Ben Stokes took a well-judged catch over his shoulder.
“We thought it was an attainable target and if we’re honest, we cruised home”.
With personnel such as Azhar’s own Surrey team-mate Jason Roy they have the firepower to make it count.
“That is beyond my pay grade about getting selection and who plays where and who bats where and everything like that”.
“I’ll be desperately disappointed”. The last time England played here, they left out Moeen to play an extra quick because of the short, straight boundary, but Stokes’ presence with the ball means Moeen will probably be retained this time.
Pakistan have confirmed that bowler Mohammad Irfan will miss the rest of the tour of England after picking up a hamstring injury.
“It’s very frustrating”, Arthur had said on Thursday.
“There were checks and balances in place (about Irfan’s fitness)”.
England one-day captain Eoin Morgan has set himself a deadline to decide within the next week whether he is prepared to travel.
Pakistan have not really tested England in the series, which is a point of concern.
“It’s been an eye-opener for for me, the last four games”, said the South African.

“England are a phenomenal cricket team, power-hitters all the way down”, said Arthur.
