Mangala has travelled to Valencia to agree a deal with the La Liga club. “The offer from Torino arrived at the right moment, in the right way”.

The players agent, Tony Barrett all but confirmed the move last night in an interview with Tuttosport soon after news broke about Hart leaving the camp simply admitting “it’s done”.

“Suddenly (in) my career has been an important turning: it was a sign”, Hart said in a statement on Torino’s English-language website. “I am very excited to compare myself in an important and lovely league such as Serie A”, Hart said to the club’s official website.

Hart has been training with England ahead of their World Cup qualifier with Slovakia on Sunday, but was given special dispensation to travel to Italy to complete a medical. The Argentinian appeared to catch the New Zealand global in the neck with his elbow during the second half of City’s 3-1 win in the Premier League on Sunday.

City called him “a key figure in a golden age in the Club’s history” on their official website.

“Joe Hart is an worldwide goalkeeper with a considerable experience at Manchester City Football Club and in his national team, where he made his debut aged only 21. Let’s hope we can experience again so many great emotions together”, Hart said. In this way, I am very glad to welcome Joe Hart to Torino. “That’s also why I immediately accepted President Cairo’s offer with great enthusiasm”.
