English FA charge Mourinho for misconduct

After his recent trouble with the FA and English media, Jose Mourinho failed to turn up for his press conference after Chelsea slumped to another defeat at West Ham.

Chelsea are preparing for Jose Mourinho’s departure following Saturday’s implosion at West Ham.

Mourinho’s assistant Silvino Louro was also dismissed during the match and has been charged with misconduct in relation to his behaviour in the technical area.

Both teams have also been charged with failing to control their players after referee Moss was surrounded in the aftermath of Nemanja Matic’s sending-off late in the first half.

And previous year Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies received a five-game touchline ban and was fined £9,000 for abusing referee Anthony Taylor and deliberately making contact with the official.

Ancelotti, who is now on a sabbatical after parting ways with Real Madrid at the end of last season, has tipped Arsenal as the favourites ahead of Manchester City for the Premier League title.

Mourinho returned to Chelsea in 2013 and has since been set to the stands twice, firstly against Cardiff City in October 2013 and again against Aston Villa in March 2014.

Word is that Chelsea’s senior players have become disillusioned by Mourinho’s sour demeanour and now believe it is a case of ‘when not if’ as far as their manager being canned is concerned.

Mark Hughes expects Jose Mourinho to ride out the tough times at Chelsea and get the club fighting for trophies on all fronts this season. Considering Hiddink is the only manager not now at a top club, he’s the most likely to take the job, depending on Mourinho’s actual exit.

Mourinho admitted in an exclusive interview with talkSPORT Breakfast Show host Brazil earlier this months he has “never had such a bad to a start to a season”, but the former Scottish worldwide claims it would be “ridiculous” for Chelsea to part company with their manager. “I think they are feeling satiated”. “Chelsea have quality right throughout the club that will enable them to come through this moment I’m sure”.
