English Premier League: Roy Keane: Guardiola is the Special One, not Mourinho
Former Manchester United hard man Roy Keane has admitted he “wouldn’t like to mess with” Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola after the big decisions the tactician has recently made. Both teams had an extra day to prepare for the game as it was postponed by 24 hours due to adverse weather conditions.

However, United legend Roy Keane – who captained the club to a Champions League crown in 1999 – claims the gaffer on the blue half of Manchester is more deserving of the moniker.
Pep Guardiola the manager of Manchester City speaks with substitute Yaya Toure of Manchester City during the pre season friendly match between Bayern Muenchen and Manchester City F.C at the Allianz Arena on July 20, 2016 in Munich, Germany.
“I don’t know who will win the League, but I hope it’s not City”. German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan was signed from Borussia Dortmund as a replacement for the Ivorian, and made his debut in Wednesday’s win against Monchengladbach.
“He said he’s a challenging coach – doesn’t look like he messes about”, he Keane said on ITV, in quotes reported by the Daily Mirror.
A lot of the players kept in the dark were expecting to fly with the squad to Rotterdam to take on Feyenoord but the manager insisted otherwise and that hasn’t gone down too well.
“But I think it’s great for him to learn from somebody like that”.
Next up for Pep Guardiola’s side is a home game against Bournemouth this Saturday, followed by a trip to Swansea the following week.

“He’s got great movement, he can finish and, as I say, he’s not afraid of big games as we saw against Arsenal previous year and as we saw against Manchester City”.
