Enjoy 39 percent share in Indian mobile market: Samsung
It is rumored that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 release date is in August. It is the venue widely believed to be where the upcoming Galaxy S6 Edge Plus as well as the Galaxy Note 5 phablet will be revealed. The Galaxy Note 5 is certainly a device to have your eyes on if you fall into one of these groups but there’s also another.

What is interesting about the new Galaxy Note 5 photos, however, is that new software for the Note 5 is on the way. The Galaxy S6 Edge is a unique smartphone with curved edges.
Screen technology and quality: Apple has stuck with an LED-backlit IPS panel for the iPhone 6, while the Galaxy S6 has one of Samsung’s Super AMOLED displays.
The Note 5 is tipped to house a 5.7-inch screen that might borrow features from the current Galaxy S6 edge, which are the edges. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ is expected to have a cheaper starting price tag than the Galaxy S6 Edge.
But that doesn’t mean the Note 5 is guaranteed to be a smash hit: Samsung has lost dominance in India and China, and the emergence of cheaper but similarly-sized devices like the OnePlus 2 is putting Samsung under threat. With semiconductor lasers small and cheap, and high processing power already in today’s smartphones, lasers look like they could be a great fit in a smartphone. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but either way be sure to check back with us next week to see what Samsung has in store for us. You’ll notice the overall shape is a bit more square than that of its Galaxy S phones and the side bezels are really thin. Samsung has always had it as part of the drop-down settings menu, but placing it in the stylus window is a nice touch.
While it’s not expected to be a Galaxy Note, its large screen and feature-set should appeal to those looking to buy or replace the Galaxy Note 4.
First image samples look promising, but we’ll have to wait for the first meaningful reviews to appear before we can make a final judgement.
Citing market research data, electronic goods major Samsung has claimed its market share in the Indian smartphone space has crossed 40% during June this year.
Samsung has traditionally followed a predictably boring pattern for Note launches: the device gets announced around the IFA trade show in September, and muscles its way onto shelves by the end of the month.
Consumers might be in for a few surprises at Samsung’s big August 13th event, but most likely it would be the usual continuation to the Galaxy series.
