Erdogan’s words could ease Turkey-Russia strain: minister

Erdogan wrote in the letter that he would like to build warm and friendly relations with Russian Federation that deserve to enter a distinguished level.

Peskov said that Russian Federation would like to take its relations with Turkey back to the previous high level.

Kremlin believes that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s congratulatory letter to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Russia’s national day requires no response, spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday, Sputniknews reports.

“God’s willing, an improvement will appear in relations between Turkish-Russian that has begun with plane crisis and results will be taken”, Kurtulmus said. There have been no apologies from Ankara so far.
