Eric and Ivanka Trump miss NY primary registration deadline
“I think they have to register a year in advance”.

Records from the New York State Board of Elections show that Eric, 32, and Ivanka Trump, 34, are registered voters who are “not enrolled in a party”. Neither will be able to vote for their father in the upcoming NY primaries because they forgot to register to vote for the right party.
So Donald Trump does not seem to have a problem with his kids not voting for him and sounded quite serene about the whole issue. His children have been witnessed by his side throughout his campaigns and the man himself appears to be very proud of them.
“Can you imagine these ISIS people sitting around, eating and talking about this country won’t allow waterboarding and they just chopped off 50 heads?” Which, you know, makes sense given Trump’s own freakish political evolution from pro-choice New Yorker to right-wing firebrand, but whatever. Any campaign manager worth his salt should have been sure the candidate’s family was registered to vote – especially considering Ivanka and Eric have been important surrogates for his candidacy.
Trump announced his candidacy last summer, leaving his children months to switch their party affiliation if they were, in fact, already registered as Democrats or Independents. Another positive talking point from the poll for Trump: fully two-thirds of the state’s voters say that Trump should receive the nomination if he has the most delegates going into the convention, even if he doesn’t hit the magic 1,237 number.
Trump also used the interview to slam primary rival Ted Cruz’s campaign as well as the Colorado delegation allocation process, which over the weekend awarded Cruz all of its 13 final pledged delegates.
A “Fox and Friends” co-host jokingly asked Trump if he would cut off his kids’ allowance.
“Yes, no more allowance”, Trump said.

Trump’s comments on Monday brought swift rebukes on Twitter from critics who said the Trump children’s lapse bolsters doubts about whether Trump is a true Republican. Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., is a Republican.
